Homecoming:
First episode of the Israeli series Prisoners of War which became the basis for Homeland.
Apparently Homeland is only loosely based on Prisoners of War.
By the looks of this first episode there doesn’t seem to be any equivalent of the Carrie Mathison character and I was somewhat disappointed by this as I was looking forward to seeing Claire Danes’ predecessor but it turned out there has only been only one Carrie Mathison and that is the one in Homeland.
The two POWS that came home however definitely had shades of Brody about them.
Good first episode and quite well handled on the POWs coming home.
